Katrice is a true natural hair enthusiast. Starting 9 years ago, when she started her own natural hair journey, she has devoted her time to truly understand the magic that lies within natural hair. Katrice has a fervent passion to help educate her clients about their hair and scalp. It has become her deepest desire to stir up a movement of natural hair adoration and show the world that black women can in fact have LONG and HEALTHY hair without having to wear weave. In fact, in 2018, Katrice shaved her head bald to experience the full natural hair transformation. She wanted to feel every stage of the process so that she could relate to each of her clients no matter what stage they may be in during their journey.

Katrice has been a licensed cosmetologist and Natural Hair Expert since 2017. In May of 2019, Katrice took a leap of faith and became a solo specialist and opened Born 2B Natural Salon.

Katrice is known for her “One Pass'“ silk press that assist in keeping her client’s curl patterns in tact and hair integrity better than ever. She is dedicated to growing and maintaining the health of each client’s hair.
